So I missed, by two days, having an entry exactly 1 year after my last journal entry.
Arisia's coming up again. Last year I'd had more ideas in jewelry than otherwise and only pushed through 4 masks at the last minute, and the imaginativeness and workmanship suffered accordingly. This time there's 9 masks cut out, and 6 of the 9 have been trimmed, and 2 of the 6 have been shaped. Plus ideas for 4 more masks, but I wouldn't count on them. Some of the designs make me very happy. None are throwaways. I still realized I'd rather put my very limited available time and effort into coming up with the initial design rather than in a lot of finely detailed finishing work, so I'll never make a $100+ mask, but these shouldn't have a problem selling at lower prices.
And maybe I'll manage a couple of jewelry sets, too.
