One of the masks made for the Arisia art show, Jan. 14-17, 2011.
Leather mask in 8-9 oz. leather, wet-shaped by hand. Colored with a brown leather dye and finished with a spray sealant. I then burned in the face patterns, attached brass rings in the ears, and sewed on the fur pieces. The piece at the top is an actual coyote face, but the fur scraps used for the side pieces are probably rabbit. There's three knotted black leather thongs at the end of each side piece, because, eh, they needed to be there. (And I'd tried two other sorts of end finishes and didn't like them and it was past midnight on the day before, the morning of, the show.)

12" wide, 10" high, about 5" deep.

I was wondering what you were going to do with the fur.. it turn out great, I love the piercings on the ears and markings you put on the mask. the placement of the fur is great too, though its a little like gait sideburns... still its my second of first favorite out all of these masks.
